French toast with strawberries

Our Breakfast

Start your day with a full breakfast prepared by Mary Ann which is included in your nightly room rate!

You awaken to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. When you walk into the Hummingbird Dining Room, seat yourself at a table set with orange juice and fresh fruit.

What will breakfast be today?
Stuffed Cinnamon French Toast, Lemon Raspberry Pancakes, Baked Eggs Italiano, Banana Nut Pancakes, Apple Fritter French Toast, or one of Mary Ann’s other specialties.  Breakfast is served “Innkeeper’s Choice” style using organic and locally grown products when available.  With your entree you have a choice of a variety of breakfast meats, including vegetarian.  Every day Mary Ann prepares something different – seconds are always available.  Always available are a variety of cereals, our own homemade granola and eggs.  While eating breakfast you may be visited by one of the hummingbirds that come for our homemade nectar.

While we don’t serve dinner there are a variety of restaurants within a short drive.  Here are some of our favorites…

  • Libby’s Bistro & SAaLT Pub
They are just minutes away in Gorham on 111 Main Street. According to Yankee Magazine, they are “A little bit urban, a little bit global, but enthusiastically New Hampshire.”
  • Nonna’s Kitchen
A taste of Italy in the White Mountains is just minutes away in Gorham at 19 Exchange Street. Upscale food in a casual setting.
